Why I make soaps the way I do...

I began soaping as a hobby, and during this journey I embraced a few facts about making soap. 

• Not all soaps have to make tons of bubbles. The ingredients in a soap determine how bubbly a soap is. Some of the best soaps have a creamier lather (think olive oil soaps)

•  I do not like to waste product - so when cutting, I leave many of my bars looking rustic (I can always "polish" a soap if you request it). 

• Simple packaging = sustainability and simplicity. 

• Many quality ingredients can be locally sourced and personally processed. I embrace this philosophy when possible  

• Most scents fade in soap over time as it ages, but happily, the scent will be reactivated as the bar is used
